Cabot Habitat to Begin Construction on Four-Home
Build in Pleasantville
On April 27th, Cabot Habitat launched the Spring into the
Build Campaign - an eight-week campaign to raise awareness, funds and recruit
volunteers for the four home build taking place in Pleasantville this summer.
Shannie Duff, Deputy Mayor of St. John’s and the founding chair of Cabot
Habitat for Humanity, is the honorary Patron of the Build. Volunteer registration
opens online May 1st .
The site excavation is planned for mid to late May with the Build Blitz scheduled
for July 10-24th. The Spring into the Build Campaign concludes with a sod-turning
on-site on June 30th coinciding with the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and
Heating (CIPH) Annual National Conference.
